Breaking in
the Mt. Light McKenzie

Tanner Goods in conjunction with Danner Boots approached Aaron Rayburn and I to create a short film showcasing the rugged beauty of Oregon, while using their new Mountain Light McKenzie hiking boot to get us to each location. We traveled to some of the most remote parts of the state, from Steen's Mountain and the Alvord desert, to Fort Rock and some secret caves near Mt. Jefferson. It was 6 days of intense hiking, remote camping, and a lot of driving in between. We clocked 1,400 miles in a loop around the state in what was a true test of the quality of these boots, and was easily the most memorable trip through Oregon I’ve had yet.
